Community Medical Outreach – Maiduguri

The Borno Islamic Charity Foundation, in collaboration with Kanem Medicare Foundation and Better You & I Foundation, is organizing a community medical outreach to support families, women, children, and elderly persons in Maiduguri.

This outreach aims to strengthen family health, provide essential medical care, and support vulnerable households as the cold season approaches.

What We Will Be Teaching

• Parental Rights & Responsibilities (Islamic Guidance)

• Basic Family Planning for Healthy Birth Spacing

• Genetic Awareness for Better Health Decisions

• Simple Nutrition & Hygiene Practices at Home

Our goal is to help families make informed, healthy, faith-conscious choices.

Free Medical Services to Be Provided

• Malaria Test

• Blood Pressure Check

• Blood Sugar Test

• Hemoglobin Level Check

• Abdominal Scanning

• Free Prescribed Drugs

• Distribution of Winter Clothing

This outreach ensures both health education and direct medical support.

Outreach Budget

To successfully run this outreach, we require a total budget of:

₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only)

This will cover:

• Medical supplies & diagnostic consumables

• Drugs and vitamins

• Winter clothing packages

• Logistics & support for outreach volunteers
